Loft Bed with Storage – Building a high bed and placing underneath is not much more difficult than building the high bed on your own. The entire project should take only two or three hours, once you have gathered your construction tools and materials. When you’re done, you’ll have 20 square feet of space under the bed with shelves that line one side. These instructions are for a loft-sized double bed but can be modified for other mattress sizes by adjusting wood dimensions.
Move all the components in the room where you are going to install the bed. Establish a post in the corner of its frame, with the frame above the post and the post located at the end at the angle formed by the two beams. Screw the post into place with four wood screws. Reinforce the message by driving a screw through each beam and on the side of the post. Repeat steps two through four for the other three legs. Set the top box on its four legs.

Connect the two posts on the long side of the bed closest to the wall with a 72-inch plank. Position the iron so that the bottom edge is 36 inches above the ground. Attach to the posts with three screws per connection. Attach a second 72-inch plank inside the same post, flush with the first board. Reinforce a short end with two 36-inch boards that connect the two posts. Install them on opposite sides of the messages, as did the 72-inch boards, placed with the inches of the bottom edge above the ground.
