Plastic bag storage – If you have ever wondered what to do with all the additional plastic bags you receive from the grocery store, maybe hanging them will make your life easier. Hanging plastic bag holders can store these bags carefully and invisibly, allowing you to recycle the bags when needed. You can make a plastic bag holder in a short period of time from leftover cloth you already have or kitchen paper.

Cut two elastic pieces approximately 2 inches longer than the measurement noted. Stretch one of the elastic pieces across the entire width of the towel to see if you can reach both ends. If you have difficulty stretching the elastic through, then discard these and cut two new pieces only an inch or so long.

Run the open kitchen towel to the wrong side or the side that represents the inside of the towel. Draw a straight line with a pencil from one end of the towel to the other. Then mark the center point of each piece of elastic with the pencil. Pin the elastic to the kitchen towel using pins along the straight line you drew. The pins keep the elastic in a straight line while sewing. Pin the center of the elastic you just selected in the middle of the towel.
