Ideas to Remove Scratches from Fake Wood Flooring

Mar 19th

Fake wood flooring looks and feels like real wood, but it’s actually a very durable floor with four layers of engineering. The lower layer serves as a barrier against moisture. An intermediate engineering layer made of composite wood is finished off with a very detailed photographic image that imitates the appearance of the wood. The top layer of laminate flooring is reinforced with aluminum oxide, a strong mineral compound. Protect laminate floors from damage by sweeping or vacuuming regularly and placing furniture pads on all furniture.

Vacuum laminates flooring to remove surface debris. Turn the vacuum cleaner beater bar off so as not to damage the floor or use a broom. Moisten the mop lightly with running water and twist well. A mop that is too wet can cause the joints to swell, deformation of the floor and loss of warranty. Start at the corner of the room and laminate the spray floor cleaner on the floor. Scrub the floor with a back and forth motion until the entire floor is clean. Let the soil dry completely.
